“For those who proclaim they’ve grown weary of children, there are no flowers.”
Children are our future. Whether or not we have children of our own, we must realize this simple truth. Once we die, today’s children are tomorrow’s adults. We should appreciate this and know how important they all are. Children also have another wondrous quality about them. They have the mind of a child. We can only aspire to have such a mind.
Everything is new to a child, they look at everything with amazement and joy. They do not take things for granted, nor do they get jaded and depressed about the trite world they think they live in. A child’s mind is a wonderful thing, simple and not bound by illusions. Let us all try to have the mind of a child.
